where hot dogs come from

hot dogs are made from specially selected meat trimmings of beef and/or pork - just like the meat you buy in your grocer's case - are cut or ground into small pieces and placed in a mixer. If you get pork hot dogs it will most likely have other meats in it as well as pork. this is why I typically don't eat hot dogs. I can never trust it.
